The Gold Standard in Cookies

I've been watching Olympic coverage this weekend and belatedly wishing I'd planned a little viewing party. If I did I could have served this champion dessert. Found on the kitchn, a cookie cutter in the shape of Olympics rings (Ann Clark, $3.99) makes these Olympic-sized Nanaimo bars. Nanaimo bars are a popular Canadian treat that uses cocoa powder, graham cracker crumbs, coconut, chopped almonds and custard or pudding powder to make a decadent layered bar cookie. Click here for the recipe and instructions over at the kitchn. Now that's a winning idea, eh?
