A Petaled Pinata

I just discovered a lovely new blog called Inchmark, which is feeding my need for new and charming ideas. Author Brooke Reynolds recently threw a party for her daughter Bee's fourth birthday. Click here to see beautiful pics and her adorable party hats. The star of the party in my mind—other than the birthday girl of course—is this lovely pinata (above). She made it by transforming a soccer-ball themed pinata in to a wonderful tissue-petaled globe. I'd hang a pinata or two like this at a party for my girlfriends, filled with sweets and makeup. Or don't fill one at all—it would look lovely as blooming decor for any ceiling!

A big thumbs up to her flower cupcakes as well. Happy birthday, Bee!
