Put Some Sparkle in Your Easter

I'm like a magpie: I love things that sparkle. And I really love things that are just a bit girly. Naturally, I had a lot of fun making these glittered eggs. I used Martha Stewart brand glitter and glittering glue, which worked pretty well. The yolks of the eggs were blown out well in advance with plenty of time for the insides to dry. The glue comes with an applicator brush built in. Next time I might try some washable foam brushes instead, as the brush tends to pick up glitter and deposit it back in the glue bottle. I recommend using a fine grain of glitter—one of my attempts was with a chunky fools gold-like glitter and the result was a clumpy mess. The rest went from a twinkle in my eye to twinkling on my table in no time at all.
