Putting the Green Back in St. Patty's Day

This handmade card doesn't just celebrate green for St. Patrick's Day, it's green because it recycles old printed material into cute new stationery.

If you don't own one already, pick up a four-leaf clover punch from your nearest craft store. Most stores have paper punches these days, and Martha Stewart certainly makes a clover punch as do a number of other manufacturers. Then, check through your junk mail, any greeting cards you'll be tossing, and any other scrap items you can source for varying shades of green. Punch out 9 clovers and glue them in place on a sheet of folded card stock. Voila! A simple St. Patty's Day greeting card ready for mailing.

Check out the original post here at Zakka Life for more details on their great, and green, idea.
