Fake Your Way To Professional Cakes

Has everyone seen this but me? I may be the last to know, but on the off-chance I'm not I thought this deserved a post. I'm talking about the Cricut Cake, aka the newest shiny toy I want.

Cricut is a home die-cutting machine first used for scrapbooking. The original cuts fun shapes for you out of paper, vinyl and fabrics. You simply purchase the cartridges containing the shapes you want or create your own. I know folks who have them, but the Cricut had never really captured my fancy...until I discovered they've made a baker's version. The Cricut Cake will cut out shapes out of SHEETS OF FROSTING! Genius, I say...genius! This machine plus a plain homemade or store-bought cake would make me look like a baking whiz extraordinaire. I've got to get my hands on one to try it out. Do any of my Host-It Notes readers have a Cricut Cake? I'd love to hear your thoughts on it, so please leave a comment!
