Friday Giveaway: Holiday Treats From The Swiss Colony

The end of the week is finally here, and with it our latest contest! This week's Host-It Notes Friday Giveaway is generously sponsored by The Swiss Colony, makers of tasty sweet treats, nuts and snacks, and meat and cheese assortments. The Swiss Colony has offered up a pair of gifts that are perfect for your upcoming holiday celebrations. Their Snowman Yule Log and Petit Fours Set ($29.95) is possibly my favorite. Those tiny snowman petit fours are heart-melting! They are also giving away their popular Mini Butter Toffee in a cute holiday tin ($19.95).

One lucky reader will win both! All you have to do is leave a comment below telling us what treats you'd like to try from The Swiss Colony, or what your favorite holiday dessert is. The winner will be randomly selected and notified on Tuesday, December 14th, so be sure to leave your comment by midnight on Monday!

If you don't want to leave it to chance, you can buy your own desserts online at www.swisscolony.com. Still Christmas shopping? — More than half of the food gifts at The Swiss Colony are under $25.00.

  1. Oh so many items to like from Swiss Colony so I will state that my favorite holiday dessert or treat is the chocolate chip eggnog cheesecake bars that I make each year. So decadent but so good.

  2. I'm a sucker for snowman-shaped candy, so those petit fours are right up my alley. One of my favorite holiday candies is chocolate with crumbled candy cane pieces in it. Kinda like this: http://www.swisscolony.com/Candy-and-Chocolate/Chocolate/Peppermint-Chocolate-Bark.pro?fpi=2232&catCd=AW

  3. I like My mom's Cherry Cheescake. It's made in a 9X13 pan. And although rich it feeds alot of people. But one of my favorite candies is Peppermint Bark from Guaridelli's.(sorry not sure how to spell that) But it is my favorite at Christmas.
