Blue and Orange Baby Shower

I recently had the good fortune to attend a lovely baby shower! My best friend, Mandy, is expecting a little girl, and I'm so pleased I could join in the celebration! The party was hosted her sister-in-law, Jamie, who put a ton of time and love into creating handmade touches for the event.

The food was a pregnant lady's dairy dream—a nacho bar complete with the classic gooey nacho cheese, a make-your-own sundae bar, and these adorable ice cream styled cupcakes! See the tutorial that Jamie followed to make these here. Aren't these fabulous?

Continuing the ice cream theme were cones filled with melon balls and berries. The fruit was in a muffin paper at the top—hiding beneath them were tasty M&Ms in the bottom of the cone!

Decorations were blue and orange prints and accents including sewn table runners, felt circles hung down the curtains, and lollipop centerpieces, just to name a few! Jamie also painted cups and candlesticks white then glued them to jars and plates to make pedestals and candy stands.

Cheers to a great party, and congratulations to my gorgeous Mandy!
